At Marinage Industries, we strive to deliver all marine products safely and on time — whether they’re locally sourced or imported from abroad. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle delivery, packaging, freight, and customs processes for boats, engines, jet skis, spare parts, and accessories ordered through our marketplace. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Shipping Policy - The basics
1. Delivery Coverage
We deliver across India, including coastal and inland cities.
For international imports, delivery is completed after customs clearance and inland transport within India.
2. Processing Time

Domestic Orders:
Orders for in-stock items (such as boats, accessories or small parts) are processed within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation. -
Imported / Custom Orders:
Imported watercraft or engines are processed once full payment is received and order confirmation is issued.
Handling and preparation may take 10–15 business days before shipment from the origin.
3. Shipping Duration

Domestic Deliveries:
7–10 business days from dispatch, depending on your location. -
Imported Products:
30–60 business days, depending on vessel sailing schedules, customs clearance, and port congestion. -
Delays:
Unforeseen delays (weather, customs inspection, port strikes, etc.) may occur. Marinage is not liable for such delays but will keep you updated at every stage.
4. Shipping and Freight Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on product type, size, weight, and delivery location.

Large items (boats, outboards, PWCs) require specialized transport; charges will be shared before final invoicing.

Import freight and clearance fees are communicated separately before order confirmation.

The final invoice will include transport, freight, and handling as applicable.
5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

All imported goods are subject to customs clearance and government duties as per Indian law.

Marinage handles the entire process — freight, port handling, customs documentation, and delivery to your location.

Any delay or extra charge due to customs inspection or government regulation is beyond our control.

GST or import duty (if not prepaid) must be settled before final delivery.
6. Packaging and Handling

All shipments are carefully inspected and securely packed to prevent damage.

Marine products (boats, engines, or PWCs) are packed using factory-grade or wooden-crate packaging for long-distance transport.

You are advised to check packaging for visible damage upon delivery and report any concerns immediately.
7. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive:

Tracking ID or Bill of Lading (for imports)

Estimated arrival date

Shipping line or courier details

Our team monitors every shipment and provides updates via email or WhatsApp until delivery.
8. Failed or Missed Deliveries

If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, absence, or refusal, re-delivery or storage costs may apply.

For imported products, re-routing or re-handling at the port will incur additional charges borne by the buyer.

Marinage is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect contact or address details.
9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

In the rare case of damage during transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Provide photos and order details for insurance and claim processing.

We will coordinate with the freight carrier or insurer to resolve the issue.

Lost or untraceable shipments will be investigated promptly.
10. Split or Multiple Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may be shipped in parts, depending on availability or shipment size.
We’ll inform you of each shipment’s tracking details separately.
11. International Shipping Notes
For special international deliveries (e.g., to Dubai, Europe, Maldives, UAE, Sri Lanka, or Singapore):

Freight, customs, and port handling are coordinated via Marinage’s global shipping partners.

The customer must ensure import compliance at their destination country.

All international freight is subject to marine insurance and INCOTERMS agreements.
