The Story of Raunak Biswas
Behind Marinage stands Raunak Biswas, a market architect from West Bengal, driven by a vision to help shape India’s yachting and marine culture.
For over six years, Raunak has worked to understand and contribute to India’s marine ecosystem, navigating industry barriers, limited resources, and structural challenges, while building deep domain knowledge and market access.
In 2020, the name “Marinage” was coined by Raunak, meaning “A new age for mariners”, and the journey began with the creation of Marinage Yachting Global on Facebook.
Through hands-on involvement with manufacturers, dealers, and operators, Raunak facilitated the sale of boats for manufacturers and personal watercraft for authorised dealers. Today, his work extends into vessel building, with active collaborations and partnerships with vetted shipyards and manufacturing facilities, providing end-to-end market exposure from sales to production.
With limited resources but a clear long-term vision, Raunak went on to build Marinage, a platform rooted in passion, purpose, and progress, focused on structuring access and visibility within India’s evolving marine sector.
